Dear friends of astrophotography and thebedtimestory.online, today I would like to announce my latest observations. I observed the Rosette Nebula near NGC 2244 on February 7th, 2023 and looked deep in there, zoomed in with my Canon EOS R camera and the Wallimex pro 1300, adjusted by hand and exposed 1 second with a one-shot. The result is impressive. Here I show you some 1600 times magnified photos details.
I followed the description of this oneJournal: Spectrum of Science Stars and Space Issue 2 2023 Page 58 ff. There it is described how to find the Rosette Nebula.
I was able to catch a deep glimpse of it and photograph it. It is sensational how colorful and diverse this region looks. I highlighted the colors in the screenshots you see here.
I would be happy if you would take a closer look there as well, perhaps also with a follow-up through your telescopes and by assembling several images in higher resolution.
For me, the photos look a bit like Nintendoo graphics from the 80s of the last century when enlarged, but I think they are still very attractive and unique and, above all, some completely new discoveries in the starry sky in this depth of view, which I am documenting here .
I had first sighted Jupiter and looked at it as sharply as possible with medium length of the tube and then kept this setting of the focal length and then adjusted as follows: At Orion the tip of Orion extended beyond Betaigeuse by the same distance of the distance from the tip to to Betaigeuse and then lengthened and added about 1/6 of the distance and then cranked up slightly with the telescope (about 2.7 arcs cranked up after the lengthening)
That's where I looked deep in with aperture 00 and 40,000 ISO and 1 second exposure time.
