Ranulf had developed a theory of success - an idea that would shape his life and that of his family for a long time. The idea was that it would be safer if there were many different levels of trust between the public and his inner self. He went on a journey and attended a concert where he was able to sort out his thoughts in a larger group of people. Through these experiences and reflections, he finally found his way back to an acceptable normal state, which gave him back the privacy and normality he longed for.

Ranulf decided not to run away from his past. Instead of blaming others, he engaged in an intense inner dispute with God. In this spiritual battle, he found himself and reconciled with his past. Although he may never have been able to "win", this process made him more open to new tasks in his life.

Durch diese Erfahrungen und Reflexionen fand er schließlich zu einem annehmbaren Normalzustand zurück, der ihm die Privatsphäre und Normalität wieder gab, die er sich ersehnte.
Ende C: Der Disput mit Gott
Ranulf entschied sich, nicht vor seiner Vergangenheit zu fliehen. Statt die Schuld bei anderen zu suchen, führte er einen intensiven inneren Disput mit Gott. In diesem spirituellen Kampf fand er zu sich selbst und versöhnte sich mit seiner Vergangenheit.
