The baker's son short story by Ralf Christoph Kaiser 05/24/2021

The son of Becker is a bit chubby and cheeky.

He regularly nibbles in the bakery and pastry shop and feels like the king of cakes.

His parents run a café next to the pastry shop.

All the people from the village meet there regularly to gossip and clap.

The terrace is at the back of the stream and the children are always playing there.

The baker's son Jens always knows all the hiding places and places there and sometimes brags about them.

Sometimes he messes with the teacher's daughter.

She is slim and beautiful but wears glasses and is always a bit snooty and lightning smart.

Her name is Vera and she always lets Jens appear. Sometimes she rejects him, sometimes she gets pointed and puts him in his place.

She has her eye on the mayor's beautiful sublime son. Tim is a boy prodigy, handsome and sporty, and has good grades in school too. But he's a bit of a show-off and always brags about everything he finds to show off.

He is adored by most, but Vera, who also fell madly in love with him, cannot get hold of him. Once he had hurt her too because she said she knew something better than him. He then called it the Spectacled Snake.

That hurt and didn’t suit him at all. Her image she had of him until then.

Then the hour for Jens struck.

He had heard of the insult and was immediately there to comfort.

Her parents were just sitting in the café and he and she seized the opportunity and hid in the bushes.

Vera actually found fat to be stupid and hideous, but today, when she had received such a great humiliation herself, she didn't care about anything. She screamed inwardly for love and threw herself into Jens' arms. According to the motto: take it now, if I'm in the mood. Who knows what will come up later.ommt.“

Jens was often a bit difficult to understand, but in this matter he was quick as a weasel.

He pulls Vera into his secret hiding place, carefully takes off her glasses and smooches whatever the stuff is.

This kiss tasted long-lasting and juicy and like a fresh cherry blossom.

Now it was paying off that he had always tried so hard to court her.

Vera turned off her mind and suddenly loved twice.

When the parents call for them, she quickly pulls her skirt up again, feels for her glasses and skillfully adjusts them.

Jens blushes a bit and stutters something about you are the beste“

Then they storm out of hiding and pretend nothing has happened.

Where have you been for so long asks Mr. Papa, the teacher.

Vera replies: We were down by the river..“

And we're fine..“

Jens nods his head wildly to confirm.

Then everyone goes into the house.
